Kanab Goldenstone Sandsten

The hematite-stained sand catches the light differently depending on the angle, so it shifts from deep brown to almost crimson. I got the coasters and they’ve held up great under hot mugs, no chipping at all. Each one really is one of a kind.

The swirls of rust-red sand look completely different depending on the light—sometimes it’s a desert sunset, other times a deep canyon wall. I got the coaster set and each one is genuinely a tiny piece of art, not just something to set a glass on.

The hematite-stained sand gives each piece such a striking, natural pattern that I keep finding new details in mine. It arrived well-packaged and looks even better in person than in the photos, a real conversation starter on the shelf.
