Mars klockspel

The pentatonic scale gives these chimes such a warm, meditative sound that I've actually started leaving my window open just to hear them in the breeze. The hand-tuned notes ring out clearly even in a gentle gust, and the craftsmanship is obvious up close.

The hand-tuning on these is no joke—each note rings out clear and true, even in a gusty breeze. My neighbor actually asked what instrument we were playing, it sounds that melodic.

We hung it on the porch last Tuesday and every breeze sets off this warm, meditative five-note cascade that feels almost celestial. Even the neighbor's dog stopped barking to listen, which I didn't think was possible.
