แกะจีโอดด้วยตัวเอง!

Smacked mine against the driveway on the first try and the inside was a glittering surprise, crystals catching the afternoon light way better than the photos suggested. My kids went absolutely silent for a solid minute just staring at the pieces, which never happens.

Cracking it open took a bit of elbow grease with a hammer, but the crystals inside were absolutely worth the effort. The geode arrived intact and the surprise of seeing the purple lining for the first time was a real treat.

The kids and I split ours open with a hammer on the patio, and the purple crystals inside were way more intricate than the photos suggested. Took a few solid whacks, but that just made the reveal more dramatic. Only wish the pieces were a bit bigger for the price.
